Once you’ve downloaded your TS2 Client from
www.teamspeak.org run the program. Under the “Connection” tab on the top left hand corner of the program, click “Quick Connect”.

A box should appear that looks like this one.

In the “Server Address” space enter the address of the server you wish to connect to, if you’re trying to connect to Clan
SFV’s TeamSpeak server, you would enter; 67.18.40.226:8768. In the space where it asks for your nickname, enter your desired nickname. You should have something that is similar to this,

then you may click the “Connect” button. You will then connect to the server with your nickname.

Now, you may want to register your nickname. In some servers, this is necessary to switch channels, there are numerous advantages to a registered nickname. In some servers you may
require a Server Admin to give you the permission to register, without it, you will not be able to. If an Administrator has granted you access the right to register, then click on the “Self” tab and select “Register with the server”.

There, you will enter your nickname and the password you wish to use, then re-enter your password, remember this password as you will need it when you log in in the future.

Now, when you wish to log in with your registered nickname, you have to enter the nickname you’ve registered with, and the password you registered with, like this,
