SFV Mutli-Clan Alliance

SFVMCA is a group of clans that are allied in order to bring in hits and members for each clan.  This is done by having a variety of different clans each active in a separate game.  SFV serves as host of the alliance, for more info please read on.

(CURRENTLY NOT FULLY SUPPORTING)

Boot Camp

All new recruits are required to go through Boot Camp before they can officially be called SFV members.  The following details what is required of you during this training, and who your drill sergeant is. Your instructor will provide you with assistance during this one week trial.

General Camp Staff

Drill Instructors and Camp Directors

  • Kye - Camp Head Leader and Owner
  • Tarnished13lade- Warcraft: III Recruiting Officer

Process

CLAN WIDE RECRUITMENT POLICIES:
1) Member MUST meet the required standards to be in SFV. (Review the recruitment page for more information)
2) Member MUST post in the join us forum with the requirement form filled out and completed correctly.
3) Member MUST go through boot camp. The layout of boot camp on the site is only the suggested boot camp setup. Each game is responsible for their own boot camp as defined by their Game Leader. Anything significantly different should be approved by the Development Director.

THE SYSTEM
1) Member posts the join us message. The Recruiting Officer initiates contact and at this time either approves or deny. (Again, some games may require a tryout, others only send people they know are good to the clan. This is where it varies.)
2) If the member is approved, the Recruiting Officer should do what it states below.
3) A Recruiting Officer sends a PM (or communicates in some similar way) to the Training Officer stating something like the following:
The new recruit Cheezy43252 has just passed Step 1 of Boot Camp. I am transferring him to you)

4) The Training Officer sends a PM to the recruit initiating contact and sets up meeting times or whatever else is needed for the in game training.
5) The TO will see that the recruit has 10 posts and has shown in game activity.
6) If so, the member has completed boot camp once the TO is through. (Read below)

---- The RO part is mainly for clan level stuff, which is why I will go through with each RO and show them how each thing should be taught.
---- The TO part is mainly for game level issues, which is why the GL is mostly in charge of the TO.

COMPLETING BOOT CAMP
Once the recruit completes boot camp the following should happen:
1) The TO Contacts the Game Leader and states that the recruit has passed Boot Camp.
--- A) The GL adds the member to the user group
--- B) The member waits to answer one roll call before there rank is updated
2) The recruit is now a full member of SFV after passing boot camp

SFV DO NOT'S
--- Do NOT add the member to the user group before they have completed Boot Camp
--- Do NOT let any member enter SFV without going through Boot Camp
--- Do NOT for any reason forget about a recruit (this has happened)

Duties of the Recruiting Officer (RO)

Step 1

Recruits will be taught the following by the RO:

  • SFV Rules and policies

  • SFV activity, forum use, and game play attitude

  • Rank information and how to get promoted

The RO will be sure the recruit has:

  • MSN downloaded and an account created (HIGHLY recommended)

  • An active forum account with a working email

Completion of Step 1

After completing step 1, the RO is to contact the TO and transfer the recruit to his command.

Duties of the Training Officer (TO)

Evaluation Step 2

Recruits will be evaluated on the following areas in the game (these will vary with the game you wish to enter):

  • Shooting with various guns

  • Strategy and tactics, knowledge and execution

  • Teamwork and following orders

  • Whatever else the GL decides the TO should go through with recruits

  • Whatever else the TO feels is proper

The TO will be sure the recruit:

  • Has at least 10 posts on the forum in order to pass Bootcamp

  • Has the maturity and dedication to be in SFV

  • Is in the game user group (if not, the TO contacts the GL for access)

Completion of Step Two

After completing step 2, the TO is inform the member that boot camp is over.  They can only be considered a member after taking part in a roll call.

Graduation of Boot Camp

Graduation Once you have completed boot camp, you will be considered a member of SFV only after you take part in a roll call. It is the responsibility of your instructor to notify your Game Leader that you have graduated Boot Camp and to make the necessary changes to your account.  You must continue to remain active on the forum and in game.  Nice work, member.
